Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI/ML systems
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous systems
- Lead stakeholder dialogues on AI ethics with industry regulators
- Design human-in-the-loop protocols for high-stakes AI applications
- Create transparency mechanisms for algorithmic decision-making
- Advise product teams on ethical design principles and compliance
- Publish thought leadership on emerging AI ethics challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, or Computer Science with AI focus
- 5+ years in AI governance or responsible tech development
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and global ethics frameworks
- Strong background in bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Experience with participatory design methodologies
- Published research in AI ethics or adjacent field
- Ability to translate complex ethics concepts for technical teams
