Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and neuro-digital integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen autonomous systems and predictive AI models
- Anticipate geopolitical and socio-economic impacts of emerging technologies through scenario modeling
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through visionary proposal development
- Mentor junior researchers in foresight methodologies and technology forecasting
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurist Studies with 5+ years applied AI research
- Published work on quantum machine learning or neural-symbolic integration (NeurIPS/ICML)
- Proven track record in scaling AI systems to enterprise-level complexity (>100M users)
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Experience with advanced predictive analytics and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE Future Directions Committee, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
