Responsibilities
- Lead development of adaptive AI systems for autonomous decision-making in complex environments
- Design quantum-inspired algorithms to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional product teams
- Collaborate with ethics committees to ensure responsible AI deployment
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Computing (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years developing production-level ML systems at scale
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and quantum computing fundamentals
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier AI journals
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into commercial applications
- Experience with AI ethics frameworks and bias mitigation techniques
