Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of scalable generative AI models, focusing on reasoning, coding, and multimodal understanding.
- Design and implement novel training pipelines and optimization strategies to improve model efficiency and reduce inference costs.
- Mentor and guide a team of talented data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific rigor.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate advanced research into practical, high-impact consumer and enterprise applications.
- Stay at the forefront of academic and industry research, publishing papers and contributing to open-source communities.
- Establish best practices for data curation, model evaluation, and safety alignment in AI systems.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
- 7+ years of experience in deep learning, NLP, or Computer Vision, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior research role.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL) is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade AI products or models.
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures, RLHF, and prompt engineering methodologies.
