Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum computing with classical neural networks
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals and present at NeurIPS/ICML
- Develop ethical frameworks for explainable AI and bias mitigation
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in advanced ML methodologies
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Translate research prototypes into production-ready solutions with engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- 5+ years of experience in deep learning and reinforcement learning
- Published record in top-tier AI conferences (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR)
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
