Responsibilities
- Lead research in next-gen AI architectures for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Develop novel algorithms combining quantum computing with neural networks
- Collaborate with NASA and WHO on AI solutions for space exploration and pandemic response
- Publish 3+ top-tier conference papers (NeurIPS/ICML/CVPR) annually
- Mentor cross-functional teams of engineers and domain experts
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Shape industry standards for ethical AI deployment in critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI with publications in top-tier conferences
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or neural-symbolic systems
- Proven track record of translating research into production-scale systems
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DARPA preferred)
- Deep understanding of AI ethics frameworks and bias mitigation
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Fluency in Python/C++ with distributed computing expertise
