Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI systems with embedded carbon footprint optimization
- Develop predictive sustainability models for energy-efficient data centers
- Lead cross-functional teams in creating zero-emission ML pipelines
- Conduct lifecycle assessments for AI hardware and software deployments
- Establish ESG frameworks for AI development and deployment
- Drive innovation in green computing architectures
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years in AI/ML with proven sustainability integration experience
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Deep understanding of carbon accounting methodologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Published research in green computing or sustainable AI
- Experience with edge computing and IoT sustainability frameworks
- Certification in ESG reporting or carbon footprint analysis
