Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and gift cards.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining the visual appearance of the store, including restocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Clean and organize the sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout areas to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems is a plus.
