Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Safely load and unload trucks, verifying the quantity and condition of merchandise against shipping documents.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate cycle counts and manage stock levels in the warehouse to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (certification provided if needed), and other warehouse machinery following safety protocols.
- Safety Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Documentation: Update and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license or ID is required.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and communicate effectively with team members.
