Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks with precision and speed.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure the safety of the workspace by adhering to all OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Package and prepare shipments for distribution to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production quotas and efficiency goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
