Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from delivery trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick items from the warehouse floor and accurately pack them for shipping using proper packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the logistics team to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
