Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute a comprehensive 5-year strategic vision focused specifically on the 2026 technological landscape.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, biotech, space tech) to identify viable business opportunities.
- Scenario Planning: Develop multiple strategic scenarios for the future market, preparing the organization for volatility and rapid change.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Present complex future strategies to the C-suite and board of directors with clarity and persuasive impact.
- Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with key industry partners, startups, and academic institutions to foster innovation.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee the strategic allocation of R&D budget toward high-potential 2026 initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or high-level technology leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of current and upcoming technologies relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex transitions.
