Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment and intervention for emergency patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and patient response to interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Triage patients efficiently during high-volume periods
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience preferred
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced trauma situations
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
