Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices
- Manage user accounts and access permissions across company systems
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate incident logs
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and best practices implementation
- Assist with AV equipment setup for meetings and events
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot logically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and work in varied office environments
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment pickups
