Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for clients in NY and PA
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and peripheral devices
- Document technical issues and solutions in our ticketing system
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices implementation and monitoring
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects
- Conduct user training on new systems and software
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
