Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
- Manage and track IT helpdesk tickets using our internal ticketing system.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and ensure all devices are networked and secure.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential system issues before they impact users.
- Document technical procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base for the team.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical challenges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and hardware components.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and basic scripting (PowerShell/Batch).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
