Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans and appointments across multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients, families, and medical staff
- Assist with insurance verification and billing procedures
- Implement infection control protocols and safety standards
- Train new staff on departmental procedures and regulations
- Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and implement improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required
- 3+ years of clinical coordination experience in healthcare setting
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
