Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and technological inflection points
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Lead cross-functional teams in incubating next-gen products from concept to MVP
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks and future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI of experimental ventures
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product innovation, or technology consulting with proven future-focused impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation pipelines
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation or technology forecasting
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or innovation management preferred
