Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline maturity and ROI
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and war-gaming methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year strategic vision implementation
