Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the development of the technical roadmap for the year 2026, identifying emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, AR/VR) and integrating them into our core architecture.
- Architectural Design: Design scalable, high-performance systems capable of supporting next-generation consumer experiences and enterprise solutions.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee Proof of Concept (PoC) projects, managing a budget of $2M+ for experimental technologies and prototype development.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders, aligning engineering efforts with broader business goals.
- Future Trend Analysis: Monitor global tech trends and regulatory changes to mitigate risk and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the R&D division.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure), and Distributed Systems.
- Visionary Thinking: Proven ability to anticipate technological shifts and translate them into strategic advantages.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated success in solving complex, large-scale engineering challenges.
