Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen AI and quantum computing applications
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption cycles
- Secure and manage $5M+ innovation grants from federal and private entities
- Mentor a team of 8-12 engineers and researchers
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate emerging technologies into core business operations
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish in industry journals
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development and deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record leading AI/quantum research projects with commercial impact
- Expertise in future-tech forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong publication record in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Experience securing federal grants and private funding
- Deep understanding of ethical AI and responsible innovation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
