Responsibilities
- Architect and execute R&D roadmaps for next-gen technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts through innovation sprints
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate market opportunities into viable product roadmaps
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks and progress to executive stakeholders and investors
- Ensure compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Foster a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years leading R&D or product development teams
- Proven track record launching at least two commercially successful tech innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Strategic thinking with ability to balance technical feasibility with market viability
- Strong background in agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (Lean, Design Thinking)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in emerging technology (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Ethics) preferred
