Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year tech roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and generative AI applications
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through grant proposals and venture partnerships
- Curate quarterly tech summits featuring futurists and industry disruptors
- Commercialize at least 3 patented innovations annually through corporate partnerships
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption rates and ROI metrics
- Mentor post-doc researchers in applied quantum machine learning
- Author white papers for IEEE and World Economic Forum publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ exits or patents)
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and quantum algorithm development
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Prior work with blockchain consensus mechanisms or neuromorphic computing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent tier
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Security clearance for government-contracted R&D projects
