Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum-ML integration and bio-digital interfaces
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging tech trends (AGI, neuromorphic computing, spatial web)
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and incubate breakthrough startups in deep tech
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Present innovation blueprints to executive stakeholders and industry consortiums
- Mentor a team of futurists and research scientists in experimental prototyping
- Secure IP portfolios for novel technologies with 5-10 year market impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent peer-reviewed venues
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products with >$50M impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate innovation funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies for technological forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patented innovations with forward-thinking applications
