Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning with emerging market trends
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across 12+ projects
- Mentor 15+ engineers and researchers through rapid prototyping cycles
- Forge partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and government innovation labs
- Present breakthrough findings at global tech summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record shipping 3+ industry-disrupting technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private funding
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- US security clearance preferred
