Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and communicate the long-term technology vision for Nexus Innovations, specifically focusing on the transition to 2026 standards.
- Roadmap Development: Create a detailed technical roadmap for 2026, prioritizing investments in AI integration and cloud scalability.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies to assess their viability and potential impact on our product lines.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and architects to prototype and validate new technologies.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with academic institutions and R&D labs to stay ahead of the curve.
- Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget for future projects, ensuring maximum ROI on innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical management, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of defining technology roadmaps and influencing executive decision-making.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and Data Security.
- Future-Proofing: Strong ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt organizational strategy accordingly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
