Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in incubating breakthrough technologies with 18-24 month horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patentable IP strategies for next-gen innovations
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board with data-backed projections
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, or Web3
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year vision cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong financial modeling skills for long-term tech investment analysis
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to market
