Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future-proof opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic factors affecting tech adoption
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Maintain competitive intelligence database of emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation circles
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
