Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prioritize innovation initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with 3-5 year horizons
- Build partnerships with research institutions and industry thought leaders
- Create frameworks for assessing long-term technological risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of successfully implementing futuristic tech initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate tech concepts into ROI
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management a plus
