Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams prototyping next-gen interfaces (AR/VR, neural interfaces)
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through federal grants and private partnerships
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech risks/opportunities using predictive analytics
- Author thought leadership pieces read by Fortune 500 executives
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Future Tech Fellowship program
- Patent 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Expertise in at least 3 domains: AI ethics, climate tech, or space tech
- Published in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Keynote speaker at 3+ major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
