- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Partner with NASA, MIT, and CERN on next-gen human-machine interface projects
- Develop patent portfolios for at least 3 breakthrough technologies annually
- Present strategic vision to Fortune 100 clients and government entities
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD-level researchers and engineers
- Drive ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and cognitive enhancement
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Emerging Technologies (or equivalent)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations
- Proven track record scaling tech startups to unicorn valuations
- Expertise in ISO 20700 and IEEE 7000 standards for emerging tech
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes across 20+ countries
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA programs and government tech initiatives
