Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year tech roadmaps aligning with 2026 global market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI integration solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with >10x impact potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D initiatives in sustainable computing and neuro-interfacing
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging tech ethics and governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI governance, or climate-tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurism (or equivalent)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3-year market impact
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools like Gartner Foresight
