- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and market signals affecting 2026+ landscape
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with long-term business vision and ESG goals
- Author thought leadership on future tech trends and their societal implications
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for speculative R&D projects
- Mentor junior futurists and build next-gen tech talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts to market-ready products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
