Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption windows
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed recommendations
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and tech trend symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Published thought leadership in tech futures or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
