Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and advanced AI systems
- Develop proprietary algorithms for predictive modeling and autonomous decision-making
- Secure multi-million dollar grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Publish findings in Nature/Science and present at global tech summits
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in emerging technologies
- Bridge theoretical research with commercial applications through industry partnerships
- Ensure ethical compliance in experimental design and deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Biology, or Machine Learning (equivalent experience considered)
- 5+ years in advanced R&D with peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural network optimization, or synthetic bioengineering
- Proven track record of securing research funding or commercializing technologies
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in quantum computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
- Strong understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
