Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's in relevant STEM field with 5+ industry experience
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
