Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ market trends
- Develop and execute strategic technology adoption roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments and R&D initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking against industry disruptors
- Manage cross-functional technology implementation projects
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation and adoption
- Expertise in AI, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Global technology ecosystem network and partnership development experience
