Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligning with 2026 innovation milestones
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Secure $5M+ in government/private innovation grants for future-tech projects
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor 15-person innovation lab team of PhD researchers and engineers
- Drive patent development for 2026-relevant technologies (target: 12 patents/year)
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for joint R&D
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of securing $10M+ in innovation funding
- Expertise in AI alignment, quantum error correction, or CRISPR applications
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ keynote speeches
