Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum internet)
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough inventions in climate tech and human augmentation
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to establish innovation ecosystems
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in exponential technology methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Published research or patents in disruptive technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, MIT Media Lab, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization success
