Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and disruptor landscapes to identify opportunities
- Collaborate with VCs and startups to build innovation ecosystems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure patents and publish white papers on next-gen technologies
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or grants
