Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum AI, biocomputing, and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential market impact within 3-5 year cycles
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups specializing in frontier technologies
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior researchers in futuristic technology methodologies and ethical frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within global technology research communities
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
