Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and emerging scientific paradigms
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused technology investments
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in scaling emerging tech from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Singapore)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFSF)
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation or technology journals
