Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for experimental projects
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record launching products from emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
