Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, sustainable tech) and their commercial implications by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Partner with R&D to integrate breakthrough technologies into core product/service offerings
- Present technology foresight reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Build and maintain an external network of technology pioneers and academic researchers
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact and ROI on innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technology transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (articles, patents, or industry talks)
