Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic visions to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in disruptive tech sectors
- Develop frameworks for ethical technology implementation and governance
- Manage annual $5M innovation budget across R&D projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations to enterprise level
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Executive experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
