Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders with data-driven risk assessments
- Mentor teams in emerging tech ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough intellectual property in future tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Certified in emerging tech foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
