Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and position company for 2026 market shifts
- Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks for measuring future-readiness across departments
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite and board for decision-making
- Mentor teams in future-thinking methodologies and anticipatory design principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing, sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience presenting complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFM) or equivalent training
- Portfolio demonstrating technology transformation projects
