Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies with <2-year market impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Develop patent strategies and IP portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong background in intellectual property strategy and patent law
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
