Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible automation
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech solutions into enterprise architecture
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Monitor global tech policy developments and anticipate regulatory impacts on innovation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into scalable business models
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with focus on future studies
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on technology's long-term impact (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment for disruptive innovations
