Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and immersive experiences
- Lead market research and competitive analysis of emerging technologies with <1% market penetration
- Design cross-functional innovation frameworks integrating blockchain, IoT, and neural interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused KPIs
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough technologies to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum applications, and human-machine augmentation
- Exceptional financial modeling for technology ROI and venture capital pitching
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, TechCrunch)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
